Service Description
Wellness coaching is a client-centered partnership focused on maximizing personal well-being. Clients benefit from a nurturing space to explore emotions, clarify wellness goals, and cultivate self-awareness. Through empathetic guidance and tailored techniques, wellness coaches help clients navigate internal barriers, deepen self-understanding, and develop self-care and holistic wellness strategies. The coaching relationship fosters empowerment, understanding, and a deeper connection with oneself, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life journey. Wellness coaching, counseling, and consulting each serve distinct roles in supporting individuals' well-being. Wellness coaching focuses on guiding clients in setting and achieving specific health and wellness goals, often utilizing motivational interviewing, goal setting, and behavior change techniques. Counseling, on the other hand, involves a deeper exploration of emotions, thoughts, and past experiences to address psychological concerns and promote mental health. Consulting in a wellness context typically involves providing expert advice, strategies, and solutions based on specialized knowledge and experience in areas such as nutrition, fitness, or stress management. In wellness coaching, the focus is on empowering clients to get curious about what they need and then take active steps toward those wellness needs. Through wellness coaching, clients are supported to slow down and mindfully explore the connection between their mind and body, thoughts and feelings, and to build curiosity around their wellness needs and how they might best meet those needs. Wellness coaching rests on the philosophy that the client is the expert in their own life. The role of a coach is to support clients to: -Discover, clarify, and align with what they want to achieve -Encourage a client’s self-discovery -Elicit client-generated solutions and supports -Encourage the client to continue to move forward with their plan The desired impact of coaching is empowerment and self-aligned care.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Missed Appointment Policy At Mind Body Alignment Counselling, we strive to provide quality care and ensure that all clients have access to the support they need. To maintain this standard, we have established the following policies regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and missed appointments: Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: 24-Hour Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee equal to 50% of the session cost. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment without any fee if done with at least 24 hours' notice. Missed Appointment Policy: No-Show Fee: If you miss an appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full session fee. Repeated Missed Appointments: Repeated missed appointments may result in a review of your treatment plan and could affect your future scheduling options. Emergency Exceptions: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if an emergency prevents you from attending your session. Exceptions to the above policies may be made on a case-by-case basis. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best possible care for all our clients.
